Bei Lenz Leberkern war es Liebe auf den zweiten Blick! Schon immer fasziniert vom Road Racing, stellte sich anfangs seine Vernunft quer. Dabei ist der studierte Industrie-Designer kein Neuling in diesem Genre. 1998 stieß er als Designer und Pressemann zum Kawasaki-Werksteam in der Superbike-Weltmeisterschaft. Zwei Jahre lang zog er mit dem WM-Zirkus um den Globus bis ihn 2001 sein Weg zu EUROSPORT führte. Als Kommentator und Moderator für Motorsport- und Extremsport-Events ist er seitdem europaweit tätig und einem breiten Publikum bekannt.

Mit der Vertonung des ersten DVD-Rückblicks auf die TT 2004 entflammte seine Liebe zum Road Racing endgültig und 2014 ergab sich für ihn die Möglichkeit die TV-Rechte für die Isle of Man TT zu MOTORVISION zu holen. Der Privatsender, für den er mit einem begeisterten Team bereits die NASCAR kommentierte, war wie geschaffen für die Übertragungsrechte der Rennen von der Isle of Man. Nach der NASCAR ein weiteres exklusives Highlight für den Sender im deutschsprachigen Raum. Seitdem erfreuen die spannenden Rennberichte und Magazine Road Racing Fans in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz.

MEINE TT ist, in diesem Umfang, nach 30 Jahren das erste Werk in deutscher Sprache über die Königin des Road Racing – die Isle of Man Tourist Trophy!
