BBR – D3 Full Exhaust System (Yamaha)

The BBR D3 Full Exhaust System is built for riders who want real performance out of their Yamaha pit bike or play bike. Using an aircraft-grade stainless steel header and mid-pipe, the system is tuned specifically for each Yamaha model to improve throttle response, boost power, and cut weight. The signature D-profile muffler is lightweight, slim, and shaped to give you maximum tire clearance while still offering plenty of internal volume for consistent packing life.

This is a complete system—header, mid-pipe, and muffler—with a USDA-approved spark arrestor already installed so you’re trail-legal right out of the box. Carbon fiber touches on the heat shield and end cap keep the look clean and the weight low. Whether you’re hitting backyard tracks, local mini-moto races, or just riding for fun, the D3 delivers smooth, usable power and a noticeable improvement over stock.

Why We Like It

It’s one of the few pit bike exhausts that feels truly high-end—lightweight, great fitment, clean welds, and real gains you can feel off the bottom and through the mid. The carbon accents and D-shaped can give it a factory look that stands out.

Why It’ll Work for You

If you want better power, less weight, and a cleaner tone from your Yamaha, this system makes an immediate difference. The tuning gives stronger pull across the rev range, the spark arrestor keeps you legal on public land, and the optional Cancel Core insert lets you quiet things down for backyard riding or neighborhoods. It’s straightforward to install and built to last.

Great Little Scale
Model: K112BK
I think the size is perfect for my Turin Legato. Fits easily on the drip tray cover but able to get to touch keys easily. Like the touch features and glass top. It is thicker than advertised by a bit (0.78 in vs claimed 0.72).

Slightly Inaccurate but Works Well
Pros: Works perfectly for what I need it for. I use an aeropress and it's super easy to weigh the coffee going in and then the water on top of that. Then start the timer for the brew time and you've got a beautiful cup of coffee! Very bright display, easy to read, and comes with a rubber pad which makes cleanup easy. Cons: Not super accurate, but it's fine for making coffee unless you want to be exact. Sometimes the tare doesn't hold perfectly. For example, put your coffee on the scale. Tare it. Take it off. Put it back on. It might read a tenth of a gram or so one way or the other. Never impacted my coffee routine...

Been working well for over a year
Had this for over a year now and no real issues. The only issue I can think of is that if something is a bit too close to the scale, the scale can fluctuate a bit by a gram or so. Just make sure nothing is touching it, especially anything electronic. Beyond that, it's a no-nonsense scale that works great with actual tactile buttons. Its refresh rate can lag behind a tiny bit, but you get used to it by stopping your pours in anticipation. For example, I typically do 300mL pours in total, and I usually start slowing down/stopping at around 280g. Battery life is pretty good, but the battery life indicator doesn't do a good job of letting you know when you need to replace the batteries. So you may end up with it powering off mid-brew, but I've only had to replace the batteries once despite daily use over the past year or so. That being said, it's useful to also do stuff like the 4:6 method based on water level vs timer too. I'd also say it may not be extremely accurate as sometimes it fluctuates by .1 grams, but it is accurate enough for practical purposes. For reference, .1g is simply ~1 coffee bean, and unless you're an espresso perfectionist, 1 coffee bean isn't going to make any real difference. In summary: + Just the essentials if you only want the essentials + Tactile buttons + Display is pretty nice + Accurate enough for practical purposes + Battery life very good + Will work for at least a year, can't say any longer until I own it for longer + Great for the cost = WIll not refresh weight as quickly as say an acacia scale which costs at least four times as much, easy to compensate for - Battery life indicator isn't great, so it may power off mid-brew every half year or so - Sensitive to adjacent electronic devices, 1 or 2 inches is enough distance - Sensitive to adjacent objects, be mindful of anything that is touching the silicone, even if it's barely touching by a hair
