Limited 140gm vinyl LP pressing. Noam Pikelny PLAYS KENNY BAKER PLAYS BILL MONROE is the Grammy nominated banjoist's third recording for Compass Records. It follows on the heels of 2011's Grammy-nominated Beat the Devil and Carry a Rail. Upon release, the album hit both the Billboard Top Heatseekers and Bluegrass album charts and was the focus of a Funny or Die parody video starring Pikelny with appearances from Steve Martin, Ed Helms, Earl Scruggs, Chris Thile, Gillian Welch, and others. Pikelny is also the inaugural winner of the 2010 Steve Martin Prize for Excellence in Banjo and Bluegrass which earned him an appearance on the Letterman Show. Pikelny will be on tour throughout the year in support of the album with a band that includes Byran Sutton (guitar), Jesse Cobb (mandolin), Barry Bales (bass), and Luke Bulla (fiddle).

Great besides the finish

These are great. Only thing I wish it would’ve mentioned is they aren’t finished and can give you splinters unlike other shelves. But otherwise, they work for what they needed for, looks great, and easy to assemble for the price. They seem sturdy, but I don’t have much weight on it. Just something to keep from the kiddo

Small shelves, great value

These shelves were great for an area out of the way, would not be perfect for everyone. Super sturdy and easy to install however the wood seems untreated and still a bit rough. The brackets don’t blend well and seem a bit out of place but these small and light shelves have been great at holding small items. I might not trust them with anything too heavy but they have held anything I tried. Only complaint is that they are a bit on the small side as far as depth goes. Other than that, they are awesome. If the brackets looked more sleek and the wood was stained it would be perfect for anywhere.
