The DaVinci Resolve Micro Color Panel (EN) is a compact, professional hardware control surface released in 2024 to replace the original Micro Panel. It is specifically designed to provide high-precision color grading for DaVinci Resolve on iPad Pro, laptops, and desktop workstations.
This new version ("EN" for English labels) introduces significant ergonomic improvements, including a dedicated slot for an iPad and expanded controls that mimic the layout of the larger Speed Editor and Mini Panel.

Three High-Resolution Trackballs: Weighted balls with outer rings that provide simultaneous control over Lift, Gamma, and Gain. This allows for "muscle memory" grading that is impossible with a standard mouse.

iPad Integration: Features a recessed slot at the top specifically designed to hold an iPad Pro. When used with the iPad version of DaVinci Resolve, it transforms the tablet into a portable, high-end color grading suite.

Operational Insight
The Micro Color Panel is a "game-changer" for DITs and independent filmmakers. While the previous Micro Panel was essentially a "dumb" USB device, this new version is a standalone wireless tool.
If you are grading in a dark room (the ideal environment), the lack of cables and the tactile nature of the trackballs allow you to keep your eyes on the monitor rather than your hands. For iPad users, it unlocks the full color page experience, making it possible to do professional-grade color work on a plane, on set, or in a coffee shop.
Note: While it is designed with the iPad in mind, it remains fully compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux desktops. If you are moving from the old Micro Panel to this one, you will find the added "Log" and "Offset" buttons significantly improve your speed when working with HDR or high-latitude film footage.
