Reviews

This is one smart book, and author. Steinberg’s business idea was built from what he saw lacking with prior employers, and he built that idea into a thriving company. His book is a step by step description of challenges and successes: stumbling blocks from out of nowhere were followed by lucky or pursued availability of just the right hires, to right the rocking boat.

Between those surprises was plenty of strategic and analytical planning, ongoing restrategizing and analysis. The writing is a fast and fun read, easily digestible and just for fun, many chapters end in cliffhangers. I actually read an extra chapter—or 2—more than I had time for at a given time, just to see what happened next! This is a must read for anyone starting, or thinking of starting, or running, a business: it ain’t easy, but it’s an outlet for solving big challenges, creative thinking, and take charge leadership. All were present here. The book is a great learning experience!

I just finished reading "The Triple Play of Business". Wow--what a wonderful book!! It is so clear, interesting, honest and heart-felt. Bob, did you know that you could write? Your book will be an inspiration to so many people. I especially love the idea of presenting this book to today's students. It is a beautiful lesson in balancing business with values. The way that you portray those values of collaboration, respect and trust ring true. So much today about culture feels hollow. The way you describe the trials and tribulations of forming a new business tells a real story about day to day struggles. As soon as you master one problem, another one pop-up. Having an internal barometer of core values is like a guiding light. It would be so terrific if young people understood that it is possible to be an entrepreneur AND a person, or a company with lasting principles and values. You make it clear that it is not easy but that you continued to persevere. That lesson is also important. For anyone starting a business, they will be helped by understanding the ups and downs and not becoming totally discouraged by them. You modeled that for them.

Bruce has also read parts of the book. He loved your ideas. When he thinks about his success (with trials and tribulations like anyone else), he realizes that those same values are at play. Bruce has a real respect for everyone on his team (including me). They try to be as honest as they can with each other and with the clients and have thus fostered trust. The sense of working together to solve problems makes all of the difference.

Last week his team had an issue to deal with. Once it was solved Bruce said that it was just like a "triple play". I would love to think of young people who have read your book keep that expression in mind. I would love to see the next generation combat corporate America's regard for workers as "hired hands". That diminishes everyone.

Bob, you've written a wonderful book that could help so many people.

Not the sorry copper coated aluminum.
Size: 16 AWG-100 ft
The wire is 16 gauge plenty big for my system. Heck, the wires supplied with my stereo, copomonet speakers, and amplifiers are about 20 or 24 gauge. I'm quite sure the wire will be more than suffeceint. I, m installing a mono sub amplifier a four-way amplifier to the sub amp outputs and the front of lines of the stereo. I'm gonna be pushing 20 speakers all except the sub woofer only pushing 100 watts a channel and the sub will push 150 watts. That makes 21 altogether. Not much just good clean sound. I've been working on the project going on 5 years now. Been bargain hunting, besides the work I've only got about $650 in the project. Can't wait to get it completed here around the end of July. Hopefully, it will sound great didn't want to pay anyone. Seen too many "professional" jobs that were subpar. I've seen some nightmares. Figured if l did the job then who could I blame at least I can only blame myself and didn't pay $1,000 for it. 😁🤔

It's a good one, buy it.
Size: 16 AWG-100 ft
Actual 5 stars! OFC, copper stranded wire, takes solder nicely when tinned, stiff and pliable enough to stay bent. covering melts INTO wire as expected. I was hoping for a good deal and got one.
