Mezen is a type of traditional Russian painting that originated in a northern town of the same name. In this game, players will act as skilled northern craftsmen, creating elaborate ornamental paintings on demand. By cleverly combining symbols and flipping tiles, players can complete goals and earn Victory Points. The player with the highest number of Victory Points at the end of the 10th round wins. During each turn, players must select a group of adjacent identical symbols to remove from their painting, causing the tiles above to slide down and fill the empty spaces. The removed tiles are then flipped and placed into the newly vacant spaces. This allows players to rearrange symbols and achieve goals, earning them victory points. Suitable for ages 8 and up, 1-5 players can enjoy this game in just 30 minutes.
