In 1974 kocht Jess Jackson 32 hectare land in Lakeport, Californië en beplantte die met druiven. En zo begon het inmiddels iconische wijnbedrijf Kendall-Jackson, dat na de dood van Jess in 2011 met evenveel passie wordt geleid door zijn kinderen en familie; de Jackson Family. Mens en milieu staan hoog in hun vaandel. Met de komst van winery Murphy Goode werd het wijnbedrijf uitgebreid. Murphy Goode werd in 1985 opgericht door vrienden Tim Murphy, Dale Goode en Dave Ready. In de Verenigde Staten staat het wijnhuis bekend om zijn rechtlijnige, vaak bekroonde wijnen en om zijn nonchalante, pretentieloze stijl. Het wijnbedrijf wordt nog steeds door dezelfde familie gerund. De organisatie is in handen van de drie zonen van Tim Murphy, Dave Ready’s zonen zijn verantwoordelijk voor de wijnbereiding.Vol en zeer krachtig deze Murphy Goode Merlot
Midden in California staan de prachtige Merlot wijngaarden van Murphy Goode, de oude stokken van wel dertig jaar oud geven rijpe en volle trossen. Ze hebben wel veel aandacht nodig, en daarom is wijnmaker David Ready Jr. dag in dag uit in deze wijngaard te vinden. De druiven worden met de hand geoogst en vervoerd in kleine kratjes, zodat ze geen schade oplopen tijdens het transport. Hierna volgt een hout lagering om de Merlot meer diepgang te geven en dat is gelukt hoor. In de warme geur indrukken van zwart fruit, blauwe bessen, lichte kruiden en vanille en eikenhout. De smaak is complex en warm, veel fruit nuances van bramen, kersen en pruimen. Achter op de toch een mooi samenspel tussen het hout lageren en de eigenschappen van de Merlot druif, mooie lichte kruiden, pruimen, vanille, karamel en wat eikenhout.Shipping Notes

Perfect Pillow!

I have spent so much money trying to find the right pillow. As a side sleeper I would always wake up with a stiff neck but not with this pillow! It’s a perfect height and the pillow stays fairly cool. It’s totally my Goldilocks pillow!❤️

Great!
This SUPA MODERN Reading Pillow is absolutely what I have been searching for. I added a thick mattress topper to my twin bed and suddenly the wedge pillow I had was below the top of the mattress so I needed something else to put against the rails at the head. This reading pillow is almost exactly the same width as this standard twin.
The pillow was shipped vacuum packed and looked so lumpy I was fearful it would never be comfortable but I followed the instructions and left it alone except for an occasional shake to fluff it for 72 hours. As often as I get stuff that’s vacuum packed I was still amazed by how this turned out. It’s very full and firm I’m sure some folks will like that you can remove some of the filler to soften it but I find it very comfortable as is. The shape does give it a little more lumbar support than similar pillows I have had in the past. The fabric cover is super soft but has yet to make me overheat. It does have pockets on the arms but they’re not very big I wouldn’t put much in there I was worried about falling.
This is not the cheapest reading pillow but it’s far and away not the most expensive. As I was writing this review I saw that it has been marked down 20% PLUS there’s a 30% off coupon. That puts it down around the cheapest price point for a far superior pillow. Go get one NOW!!!

Great pillow to relax with.
I ordered this pillow specifically, so my son has something to sit against when he comes to work with me. He absolutely loves it, the pockets are great, it provides enough comfort and support for him to play his video games and read while I get things done.
It does need a couple of days to fully settle and puff up, and there is a bit of a smell as there is with most pillows that have this time of filling and are smooshed and wrapped in plastic. That smell goes away in the couple of days it takes for the pillow to fully expand.
This pillow is great for lounging, kids sitting on the floor watching movies, to using it in bed to sit up and read, play video games or study. It also would work really well for deeper couches and shorter people. I love that the cover is washable, as that is pretty mandatory in our house with kids and pets. I am very impressed with the quality.
