Pär Holger Lindblad was born 5 May, 1907 in Arbrå , Hälsingland. He was a Swedish painter and sculptor.

Lindblad initially worked as a musician and photographer and at the age of 34 took up painting. He took private study trips to France in 1947, 1950 and 1953 (the latter with a visit to the Académie Julian in Paris) and to Italy in 1953, and to neighbouring Denmark and Norway.

He showed in both solo and group exhibitions. He first exhibited in 1942 but was not an immediate success. It wasn’t until a few years later in 1944 when he exhibited in Stockholm at Galerie Moderne that his work became really noticed and be became one of the great successes of the 1940s. He showed again at Galerie Modern in 1945. Other select solo shows included one in Malmö at Modern Art 1946,  in Gothenburg at Lorensberg Art Salon 1948, in Orebro and Gävle 1949, and at  Konstnärshuset in 1953. He had around 30 solo exhibitions throughout his career. Select group shows include the exhibitions ‘Norrlanningarna’ in 1946, ‘Nordisk Kunst’ ('Nordic Art’) in 1947 and 'Samlarnas utställning’ (Collectors Exhibition' 1949, all at the renowned the Liljevalch art gallery in Stockholm, as well as in the Gävleborg group exhibitions.

As a painter Lindblad produced portraits, landscapes and still life works.

His sculptures appear as public works in Gävle, Sweden including works ‘Solöga’ at Stigslundsskolan, ‘ Hund och katt’ (Dog and Cat) in Sätra, 'Tre bockar ‘ (Three Bucks) in Eriksbergsparken and 'Skogsblomma, Karlavagnen och Anhalten' in Andersberg.

He received the Konstakademiens  (Art Academy) scholarship in 1972 and 1973, the Gävleborg Art Association's scholarship in 1974 and the Gävle municipality's cultural award in 1976. He was a member of the Konstnärernas riksorganisation (Swedish National Association of Artists).

Examples of his work are held in major Swedish institutions including the National Museum in Stockholm, the Moderna Museet (Museum of Modern Art) in Stockholm, the County Museum Gävleborg and at the museums of Örebro County Museum, Västerås Art Museum, Östersund  and others.

Finally a ball my power chewers cannot destroy
Size: Medium
I have two dogs, an American Bully and an American Pit Bull Terrier, and both of them love to chew. Most balls last a very short time around here before they are shredded or missing big chunks. This one has actually held up. They chase it, tug on it and sit and chew on it, and it is still in one piece with no pieces breaking off. One of my favorite things is being able to put food inside. I add some kibble or small snacks, and they will happily sit and work on it for a long time. It keeps them busy, gives them something safe to chew, and they get a little reward while they play. When they are done, I just rinse it out and it is ready to go again. If you have strong jawed dogs that usually destroy toys, this ball is worth trying. Mine really enjoy it and I feel better knowing they finally have a ball that can keep up with them.

My dog LOVES this ball
Size: Medium, Size: Medium
Does your dog destroy tennis balls in seconds? Yes? Then your dog NEEDS this ball! It's squishy like a tennis ball, fits in ball launchers (even the cheap ones) and bounces when it hits the ground. My dog has been literally playing with this ball all day and not a single mark on it! The only bad thing is that it does not float. Definitely worth the money! Put it in your cart!

Perfect for ball demolishers
Size: Medium
The dogs love the chuck it brand. I don’t know what it’s made of but they go crazy over them. Will not play with another ball. Wonder if it’s “laced” with an addictive scent. Have pits. Very durable. Not able to chew to pieces. Last for about 6 months before there is a small break. I keep a back up because when the ball goes missing the house is in chaos. 😆 🤪

Chuckit medium rebound balls
Size: Medium
My 8 month old German shepherd dog loves these balls. They are easy to throw, they bounce great, they are very chewable! She keeps one in her mouth most of the time. It satisfies her need to chew and she does not chew other things. She drops it in the water and lets the hole fill up and drinks that way. The only problem that has caused is suction in her mouth and difficulty in dislodging it for her. However, she would be lost without it!
